Biography

Utopia Look-Alike is a quartet hailing from Alliston, Ontario. The band has been together now for 2 years and has played numerous local shows around their Township of New Tecumseth including a free show at Groundswell Coffeehouse where people were turned away at the door due to fire code regulations. The band also recently opened up for a ska band called the Johnstones and despite the significant difference in genre, the band still appealed to the crowd. The band gives away free demo cds at every show so if you are in attendance at one of these shows then be sure to pick one up! Each member came from different musical backgrounds and they bring their respective sound through their instruments each time they play. Thanks a lot man. Yeah, as I said we'd love to play a show with you guys. I'd invite you to come play in Midland with us, but there's not a whole lot of shows in this town. We're gladly willing to commute down to Alliston to play with you guys. It'd be a lot of fun. Anyways, look forward to hearing from you. Take care, man.

Haha, for sure man. That's what happen's through supernova, you play with a variety of sounds. Not always a bad thing, but it would certainly be nice just to play a full set alongside similar genres. I don't know which member I'm talking to, but I loved that hollowbody, man. Everything sounded great. Anyways, take it easy.

I didn't get a chance to hear your set because we had to clear out really fast but I'm liking the tunes on myspace. We should get a show together with us because you are more of our scene compared to the other bands lol. I'll vote for you guys tomorrow because I just figured out the voting concept today so I used it on us!
