Surrounded By Water

Formed out of High School, Surrounded By Water has been a mainstay in the London and Southwestern Ontario metal scene for almost 10 years. After nearly a decade of evolution and mutation, SBW is on the verge of breaking through with their honest and organic approach to progressive rock. Blending complex rhythms, crushing guitars and captivating vocals, SBW continues to carve their niche with a unique and refreshing brand of metal. While guttural riffs and syncopated beats are the driving force in their compositions, SBW has an unpredictability that allows them to intermix melody and hook while maintaining heavy undertones. Surrounded By Water is currently putting the finishing touches on their sophomore release, Plunder The Sun, available August 2011. The third single Hypercritical is now being featured on FM96 London's Indie Show. Their debut release Think Tank is also available on iTunes and most major online music retailers.
