Biography

Hot Vamp Club are guaranteed to get every indie kid's skinny tie in a knot this summer. The indie-disco quartet were announced by Radio One last year and their dance sensibilities are the only thing standing out of a fledgling Bournemouth music scene. Now filed next to influences such as Goodbooks and Magistrates, their conversational lyrics and pop hooks have been compared in the press to Bloc Party, The Rapture and Good Shoes. In their short time together, they have already headlined two of the South's most famous medium capacity venues, in Champions and iBar. Most recently, Hot Vamp Club supported The Kabeedies (Glastonbury Festival '08) at The Enterprise, London and were included in the ‘Best of Myspace Music’ podcast.
