High Sun

High Sun is a Vancouver band that formed in the fall of 2010 with Ross on vocals, Dan and Taylor on guitars, Mike on bass, and Cam on drums. Since coming together, they have forged a musical bond taking them to various stages in the Vancouver area playing shows that rock as hard as humanly possible. The boys of High Sun are five fiercely passionate musicians with a simple mission—to deliver original razor-edged, acidic desert rock songs in highly energetic stage performances that strike like a sonic hammer. They are a band that loves to have fun when they play, and they take everybody watching along for the ride. In the past year, High Sun has been sharing Vancouver stages including the Cellar, the Roxy, and the Tunnel with bands like Stealing Eden, Whisky Jack, and The Mighty One. In addition, they have been spending time in the Greenhouse studio assembling a collection of their best recordings for an upcoming EP set for release later in 2012.
