Supernova has to change the contest pamphlet, cuz it says that its a judged "battle". There was no one but the sound-man, the door girls and our group of friends there. Not saying we should have won, far from it. I'm just saying don't lie and manipulate bands for profit. Don't say they're judges when really the winner is determined by whoever sells the most tickets not talent. Glad it's still about the music and not the cash...oh..nvm
Either way, the winning band worked hard and deserved it.

I'd love to play this thing, but i'm from smithville ontario and this gig's not exactly close to home. I know I'll be missing out though. Good luck to everyone playing.
