Great composition and nice voices.” </b> <br> [Judge of Youth Talent Search Ontario Competition Finals 2005]. <br> - Denise Pelley (2-time winner of London’s best jazz artist award in 2002 and 2003) <br> <br> <b>Bread Envy</b> is known for insightful songwriting that incorporates a unique blend of pop, rock and funk. <br> <br> The band consists of fourth-year undergraduate students enrolled in the University of Western Ontario’s Popular Music Studies and Music Administrative Studies programs. In addition to their education in production and songwriting, Bread Envy continuously raises the bar for themselves, both artistically and professionally.<br> <br> Their live performances and original works have received acclaim from <b>Jack Richardson</b> (Juno Award-winning record producer), <b>Peter Brennan</b> (Juno Awards judge and record producer of UK Top 10 charting albums), <b>Denise Pelley</b> (2-time winner of London’s best jazz artist award in 2002 and 2003), and <b>Donna Creighton</b> (4-time winner of London Music Award for Folk/World/Celtic). <br> <br> The band has been reaching out to their audience in performance with accomplished Canadian songwriters such as <b>Danny Michel</b> (Juno Award Nominee for Best New Artist in 2004). Recently, their television coverage on <b>'A' Channel News</b> has raised awareness of their national success, featuring live performances and interviews of the band. <br> <br> They are currently featured on CHRW radio and have been constantly gaining popularity throughout Southwestern Ontario.
