Hard work, dedication and commitment are such huge factors when making a decision to be in a band. Four teens ranging from 16-17 came together to form, "Undying Promise" because they all acquired these factors. Justin Maki (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), Julianne Bryans (lead guitar), and Sharon-Rose Molina (Percussion and back up vocals) all attend the same high school and met when asked to perform numerous gigs. Deven Shoebottom (bass guitarist) was later asked to join when the band decided they needed that extra punch to complete the sound they were aiming for. They've been playing for about a year and half now and since then have won FIRST PLACE in London's JACK RICHARDSON MUSIC AWARD, have been asked to play at numerous festivals and fairs such as Western fair’s Youth Talent Search, which they won the preliminary round and also kept on fighting through until the semi finals, the Iron Horse festival, the Delhi festival, and also have participated in many charities and fundraisers such as “ End MS”, “Paddle for Life”, and have even performed on Rogers TV’s “Easter Seals Telethon”. Other gigs include London, Ontario’s “Canada Day” festival, the “Eclectic” fashion show, and also Supernova’s band competitions. Using these gigs to improve their sound, Undying Promise has taken the first step into becoming the next big thing.
