Reg is a singer, song writer and independent recording artist who was born and lives in Regina, Sk. He recently released to the public his first two song compact disc of traditional country music. His singing career started about the age of five when he began singing in the church choir. He received a guitar from his parents for his 13th birthday.
The last few years Reg could be found at some of the local taverns singing karaoke on Friday or Saturday nights. He was recorded and broadcasted on Big Dog 92.7 singing “Jesus Take the Wheel” for a Carieoke contest and he was a guest DJ on “Look Ma I’m on Big Dog”. He has also sung on a cruise ship, at two casinos in Las Vegas, at resorts in Mexico and the Dominican Republic. at Toby Keith’s Bar in Phoenix and at Universal City in Orlando,. He enjoys music of all genres but he especially likes country and rock.
Reg joined the Saskatchewan Country Music Association as an associate member in 2009. He served on the host committee for the 21st Annual Saskatchewan Country Music Association’s Awards which were held in Regina in 2010.
Over a year ago Reg was asked to sing at a friend’s wedding. He decided to write a love song for the wedding entitled “These Words”, which is his very first original song. The other song on his cd is a life song entitled “Who’s Countin” which only took him one hour to write. He is currently writing more songs and would like to record a full album.
