Donald Cormier is a Alternative, Rock, Country band from Moncton, NB and looking for a recording deal or to write for other artists.
"Bottle&Chain" was written and produced by Donald Cormier who also sings vocals and plays all the instruments on the song, which was just finished in November of 2011. In 2010, Donald received a semi-finalist songwriting award for his song ”Used Goods” in the international “Song Of The Year” competition. Donald Cormier has played on Main Street in his native Moncton for over 20 years. Concurrently, he was a regular player at the Moncton Farmers Market for 10 years.
Through all of these years, Donald has written over nearly 300 songs. Most of them during the past five years. In 2008, Donald completed his first demo CD entitled “Over The Edge”, which was recorded by Léandre Bourgeois who also played keyboards on the CD with Mike Melanson on bass and Mike Maillet on drums. Donald sang vocals and played acoustic guitar. The six song project was coordinated by Francine McClure.

Donald has attended songwriting workshops in 2010 with John Capek and in 2011with the Radio Star and Canadian Music Week's "New Songwriting Workshop" featuring songwriter, producer, and author of "Murphy's Laws Of Songwriting -The Book", Ralph Murphy. In the past two years, Donald has also been learning to record his own audio so he can share and promote his many original compositions. Donald would love a record deal, but he would also be happy writing songs for other artists.
