Centuri

Part of Centuri formed in Fall of 2008 and now consists of four members: Jeff Marriott (Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar), Jacob Dyck (Lead Guitar, Backup Vocals), Evan DeMare (Drums, Keyboards), Jesse Foster (Bass). Evan and Jacob first met in Freshman year (2006) and the two became good friends. It was not until their Senior year (2008) that Evan and Jacob began to write music together in Evan's garage. At the same time Evan was equally involved in another side project with Marcel Gruber (former lead singer and bassist). In Fall of 2008, Marcel was introduced to Jacob at Evans 18th birthday, and the three quickly realized that it would be a good idea to scrap the two side projects and form Centuri. After collaborating with the band for a year or so, Marcel left due to pursue school. With Marcel gone, Centuri needed a new bassist and lead singer. In early 2011, Jacob met Jesse Foster (bassist) in a university class and asked Jesse to come jam. When he came, Jesse could only play a little bit of lead guitar at the time, so we all made the decision that he should play bass instead of lead. After finding a bassist, they now needed a new lead singer. They searched online and eventually found Jeff Marriott with his astonishing vocals & later joined the band Making Centuri a four piece band. All of Centuri's recordings are done in Evan's garage and they are now looking for shows to play. .......................................................................... Centuri is a blend of New-Wave Alternative rock mixed with Modern Pop, 90's Britpop, Dream Pop, Dance Rock and Metal.
