Alyssa McQuaid

Alyssa McQuaid is a singer/songwriter whose mission is to motivate, inspire , and enterain a diverse audience of music lovers. Alyssa has performed at various venues and festivals throughout Canada and was recently a highlighted entertainer in the Alberta Music Association’s “Untapped Talent in Alberta” tour. As a founding member, Alyssa helped establish a YWCA girls’ club in Lethbridge which has expanded to include chapters in cities across Canada. Alyssa was recently appointed the GirlSpace ambassador for the YWCA, and, as such,she will be donating a portion of the proceeds of cd sales generated on the YWCA Website to the GirlSpace program. While no definitive measurements are possible, Alyssa’s past and present support of anti-bullying campaigns and Kid’s Help Phone campaigns has hopefully made a difference to at least some teenagers and young adults. Further, her contribution to causes such as Breast Cancer research, International Women’s Day, Red Cross and so on, has made her a sought-after participant at many of the events sponsored by these causes
